Department consists of 12 employees whose duties include, but are not limited

REMINDER: There is a
(5) FIVE BAG LIMIT ON TRASH PICKUP FOR EACH HOUSEHOLD. Each bag shall have a
capacity of not more than 30 gallons and not to exceed 50 pounds of weight. Oil
drums or barrels or like containers, will not be accepted as containers, nor
will cardboard boxes that fall apart when wet or moist.
Any household appliances will be picked up on the
same day as the garbage.
CITY OF GREENSBURG BRUSH
POLICY:
The City of Greensburg adopts the
following policy to serve as a guide in making decisions regarding the brush
removal and beautification of the City of Greensburg:

The city's policy for brush
pick-up shall consist of branches that fall from storm damage.

Property owners who have tree(s)
removed are responsible for their own removal of brush & wood.

Any property owner who utilizes a
tree/landscaping service for services including but not limited to removing
trees, topping trees and trimming trees will still be held responsible for the
removal of the brush and wood unless other arrangements were agreed to by the
trees service/landscaping servicing company.
