ALL TRASH PLACED AT THE CURB MUST BE IN THE CLOSED TOTER.. If the household weekly trash exceeds that, an additional toter can be purchased  at the utility office and the monthly trash fee will be adjusted accordingly. Residents are encouraged to recycle as that service is provided at no cost and can reduce their volume of weekly trash.

Any appliances, furniture, construction debris will only be picked up on the two heavy trash weeks that will be posted ahead of time. Those materials will be collected on those weeks the same day as your normal trash collection. Electronics and tires can no longer be collected as trash due to state laws and residents are urged to contact the Decatur County Solid Waste District for alternatives.
